Came for labor day weekend, it's a nice Campground but the pool was pretty small and the people aren't that friendly. The staff seem like they don't want to be there, especially the angry women in the security booth and the store. I might come back and give it another shot but it's not at the top of my list.
Its the best gay getaway in central Florida. Whether you're alone or with a friend or two, you're going to have a really nice time. Rent a cabin or, like me, pitch a tent. You owe it to yourself!
Been a member for over a decade, first just as a winter vacationer from the north, to a snowbird and now as a Florida resident. It annual membership at less than 50 cents a day for pool, bars, shows etc. Seems to me the best entertainment value - gay or straight - around. And it is a gay community that I find both supporting and fun. Employees have always treated me well. Don't get me wrong, this ain't no 5 star resort, but for the money I think you will have to look hard to find something comparable in the Florida area.
